Since its charter year (1967), MERC primarily serves Outagamie, Calumet, and Northern Winnebago Counties for public and private schools in the districts of Appleton, Brillion, Chilton, Freedom, Hilbert, Hortonville, Kaukauna, Kiel, Kimberly, Little Chute, Menasha, Neenah, New Holstein, Shiocton, Stockbridge, Weyauwega-Fremont, and Winneconne.

Our MERC History

Since 1967, MERC has continued to be a non-profit, professional, and service organization composed of reading specialists, teachers, administrators, and others who are genuinely concerned with the improvement and teaching of reading and the promotion of lifelong literacy.
