Muirland Literacy Council provides opportunities for people to:

• keep current on current reading initiatives and best practices
• collaborate and network with other reading professionals
• address literacy issues and trends in our local communities
• share a passion for reading  

Muirland is affiliated with the Wisconsin State Reading Association (WSRA). This council is composed of teachers, librarians, reading teachers, specialists, administrators, and others interested in lifelong literacy needs and issues at the local, state, and national levels. Muirland Literacy Council has three meetings per council year with outstanding presenters. Come and join the fun!
